PRAYER GUIDE
We will unite in prayer together over the following…

January 1- Pray for spiritual growth & revival in your life and in the life of your family/friends.  May God shape you all and mold you in His image this year.

 For meditation: Ephesians 4:11-16

January 2 – Pray for God’s direction in your life as you trust Him to guide your path according to His will.  Pray that you will listen to God’s voice and learn to discern when He wants your attention.

For meditation: Proverbs 3:5-6, Psalm 32:8, James 1:5

January 3- Pray that you will be obedient to God’s calling as He leads you, no matter how scary it may be to take a leap of faith.  Pray that He gives you “God-sized” ideas that require His strength and presence to accomplish.

For meditation: Philippians 3:10-14, Romans 12:2, Zechariah 4:6

For meditation: Psalm 37:4-6, Psalm 9:10, Romans 8:28, Joshua 1:9

January 5 – Pray that Spiritual Gifts will be activated in you as you seek to be used by Him.  Pray that He uses you to edify your fellow believers through the gifts of knowledge, wisdom, prophecy, and encouragement.  Pray that He uses you to edify the Church through the gifts of tongues/interpretation, prophecy, healings, miracles, and service.

 For meditation: 1 Corinthians 12:1-10, 1 Corinthians 14:1-25, Romans 12:3-8

January 6 – Pray for the ministry of your Church, that God will use Authentic Life Church to be a light in our community.  Pray that people will come to Christ, be baptized, discipled, and used by God to accomplish His perfect will in their lives.  Pray that we will meet the spiritual needs of all of our members and the surrounding community.  Pray for the pastors and leaders of ALC to be used mightily by God to facilitate the ministry of our church.

For meditation: Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 20:28, Acts 2:42-47

January 7 – Pray for the provision of your church, that Authentic Life Church will never lack the resources to maintain expenses and carry ministry forward into the community.  Pray that each member will be blessed abundantly, and that they will rise up in greater generosity toward God’s kingdom.  Pray for a 100% tithing congregation, a spirit of generosity in giving offerings, and an open window of heaven over each household.

 For meditation: Malachi 3:10-12, 2 Corinthians 2:6-11

January 8 – Pray for the VISION of your church.  God gave us these three activators: Saved People Seek God, Saved People Serve People, Saved People Save People.  Pray that each member of our church family will embody these three aspects of Christian living, and as a result be a living outflow of God’s grace, power, and love.

 For meditation: Matthew 16:24

January 9 – Pray that God will increase your biblical world view this year and that you will remain true to His Word in the midst of our increasingly anti-Christian culture.  Pray that he will protect your heart and mind and that you will remain focused on His Word as the ultimate authority for morality, wisdom, and truth.

For meditation: Ephesians 2:8, Ephesians 1:7, Titus 2:11-14

January 12 – Pray that your joy will come from the Lord and not from things of this world.  May you learn the difference between joy and happiness, knowing that the joy of the Lord can be present in times of heartache.

For meditation: Romans 15:13, Psalm 16:11, John 15:11
